Bulli coastal bean Sylt

New in Wenningstedt

From April to October, Jette Behrens and her VW T3 provide truly delicious coffee, sweet treats, and a cheerful atmosphere at Wenningstedt's village pond. The Sylt native has fulfilled a dream with her retro coffee van. Tip: Take a break here on your next bike ride or hike across the island and enjoy the cheerful, cozy atmosphere.

“I’m looking forward to this becoming a lovely place where people like to meet and take a walk around the village pond,”

beams Jette Behrens. On the very first day of her guest appearance in the Bulli, the weather is perfect: the sun is shining and the seagulls and geese provide the perfect soundtrack. Until October, the Sylt native, who is known for her "Bulli coastal bean Sylt“ has fulfilled a dream, standing between the pond and the Friesian Chapel and providing walkers and cyclists with coffee & co.

The retro Bulli attracts attention and makes you smile
Until recently, "Meggy" was still parked in Göttingen. "When I saw the car in the classifieds, it was immediately clear that it was the right one. Even the gold and turquoise paint scheme matched the look!" Jette says. The drive to the island took almost nine hours, as the bus is no longer capable of traveling faster than 90 km/h. Once on the island, the VW T3 was completely renovated with a lot of personal effort, and then, with the help of a carpenter, it was refurnished according to Jette's specifications.

Now everything in the Bulli revolves around the coastal bean
The focus is on high-quality coffee made from beans from the Braderup coffee workshop. Golden milk, chai tea, and various teas, as well as cold drinks, are prepared with just as much love. For those with a small appetite, Jette offers sweet treats like muffins, pastel de natas, sweet treat bags, and a nut mix.

All drinks are available to consume on site with a view of the village pond or to take away.
Tip: If you bring your own cup, Jette will give you 20 cents off.
