The boules court is one of the most popular meeting places on Kapellenplatz. Here people play, laugh, talk shop, and above all, spend time together.
From April to September, the Sylt meatballs meet. every Tuesday from 15 pm Join us for an open game of boules. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player – everyone is welcome. Anyone who wants to can simply drop by, join in, or relax and watch the pros. Because boules isn't just about getting as close to the target ball as possible. It's about meeting people, having conversations, and enjoying the simple pleasure of playing together.

The popular "Everyday People" sculptures by artists Laura and Christel Lechner have long been a part of summer in Wenningstedt-Braderup. From April to October, their life-size figures along the promenade invite visitors to discover them, smile, and take photographs year after year.
Now the everyday people have finally discovered the Chapel Square for themselves. They sit, relax, and observe the colorful activity – as if they had always been part of this special place. With their gentle serenity, they give the square a unique atmosphere, making it a place where one always enjoys pausing – and a true favorite subject for capturing small memories and taking large vacation photos.

That's why, from spring to autumn, you can expect a diverse program of events for young and old under the open sky, creating new favorite moments week after week.
Look forward to atmospheric concerts by regional and national artists, relaxing sound baths under the open sky, creative amber polishing with Artwave, and diverse movement activities such as boxing or hula hooping. The program is complemented by special open-air cinema evenings, flea markets, and other rotating events.
