Spring marks the start of the outdoor season for all music and dance enthusiasts on Sylt! And not just anywhere, but in the most beautiful spots on the island: on the beach with your feet in the sand, on the promenade by the bandstand, on the Wenningstedt Sunset Steps, or at the Kampen Storm Hood. Always included: an extra-large dose of sea views and a true island feeling. Throughout the summer and into autumn, Sylt offers fantastic events with DJs, live music, and impressive light displays. Sophisticated house tunes, warm saxophone sounds, and exceptional vocals create experiences that linger long after the event and make your time on the North Sea coast unforgettable.

This party series in Westerland has achieved cult status and kicks off its fourth season in May! The Sunday evening revelry, dancing, and partying at the bandstand on the island's main promenade has become a fixture on Sylt's event calendar and a special ritual for many partygoers. Look forward to electronic music and various live acts, accompanied by the sound of the sea, cool drinks, and the Sylt sunshine.

Wenningstedt Cliff Sound

A diverse musical experience right by the sea 

The Wenningstedt Cliff Sound 2026 transforms summer on Sylt into a stage by the sea. At three special locations – the main staircase, the hall terrace, and the dune corner – you can experience musical diversity from 18:00 PM to 22:00 PM: On selected dates throughout the summer, DJs & live acts, singer/songwriters, and bands will perform.

What could be better in summer than ending a day at the beach on Sylt with a cool drink and wonderful music? In July and August, you can enjoy this relaxed and carefree island lifestyle. Various artists perform with their instruments and voices against a breathtaking backdrop. Delicate guitar melodies, soul, and jazz blend with the sound of the sea to create a truly atmospheric experience.

Laurence De Vane

Lübeck musician Laurence De Vane plays contemporary music from recent years as well as well-known classics. He places great emphasis on innovative interpretations; a simple copy of the original is out of the question for him. With his voice and guitar, he makes familiar songs sound as they have never been heard before. Laurence De Vane already captivated audiences in 2025 against the backdrop of a perfect sunset.

Two voices, two worlds – one unique sound: The duo blends pop, funk, and jazz into a warm, multifaceted sound with their own distinctive style. Alongside selected classics and modern songs, their own compositions also shape the program, creating personal and authentic moments.

Julia McCallion, known from the Hamburg music scene, meets Jean Cortis with influences from funk and jazz – together they create a stylish, versatile sound full of emotion and character.

Jesper Westergaard is a soulful smooth jazz crooner, guitarist, and crossover artist working in the realms of jazz, pop, and easy listening. He interprets classics from the American Songbook, as well as soul and Motown, blending them with original interpretations of both newer and older pop songs from the last 80 years. Jesper has been performing for years on stages large and small, both in Germany and abroad, and is a regular guest at some of Germany's finest hotels. Enjoy relaxed, feel-good acoustic music with a sea view from a singer and guitarist who lives and breathes music.
