The harbor festival offered a musical program that made waves! During the day, the traditional Sylt Shanty Choir and the nostalgic "Memories," among others, provided top-notch entertainment. The evenings began with a children's disco, followed by Sylt DJs who kept the party going. And as the sun slowly sank into the sea, the evening transformed into a party night: The band "Neon Live" and the cover band "Das Fiasko" created a great atmosphere under the open sky.

To participate, watch and marvel
During the day, we have numerous activities for all ages: various workshops, face painting, the search and rescue dog team, and much more create a cheerful atmosphere at the harbor. And what would the harbor festival be without the legendary fireworks display on Saturday evening? This year, it once again illuminated the night sky as a sparkling highlight!
Creative workshops to participate in
In the hands-on workshops of "ArtWave", visitors of all ages can let their imaginations run wild: whether modeling clay, grinding soapstone or creating individual wooden jewelry – here, true one-of-a-kind pieces were created with heart and hand!
Performance by the Sylt Dance School
On Friday evening at 18:45 pm, the stage was transformed into a dazzling dance paradise: Jeanne Dreessen's Sylt dance school presented its grand performance – and enchanted the audience with a brilliant show of rhythm, elegance and passion.
Interactive program for children
The entertainment team is delighted to enrich the harbor festival over three days with a diverse children's program, guaranteeing a colorful and cheerful experience for the little visitors.
The highlight of the harbor festival
On Saturday evening at 22:30 p.m., a spectacular fireworks display will light up the sky above the harbor basin. Colorful explosions will reflect in the water, providing a dazzling highlight to the festivities – an experience for the whole family!
This year, they're back again with their friendly dogs. Children can pet the animals, take them for walks, and playfully experience how to interact respectfully with dogs. At the same time, the search and rescue dog team will present their work and demonstrate how valuable the human-dog relationship can be in everyday life.
Information stand and participation activities
At the stand of the Wadden Sea Conservation Station from Hörnum, exciting discoveries await young and old: The wheel of fortune tempts with great prizes, sparkling treasures can be created while polishing amber, and the information stand of the National Park Administration offers fascinating insights into the wonderland of the Wadden Sea.

On August 1st, 2026 at 11:00 AM, beach excursion to the east beach
On August 2nd, 2026 at 11:00 AM, guided tour around the southern tip of Sylt starting from the harbor festival.
The guided tours cost €13,00 for adults and €8,00 for children and can be booked in advance.
The SVG late buses
