Six hosts, one mission: Make Sylt even more enjoyable!

Top chef Holger Bodendorf has been celebrating the ISLAND FOOD FESTIVAL on Sylt since 2019. Always present: fellow colleagues from the island, the mainland, and Europe. This year, the host of "Landhaus Stricker" is once again inviting five more island colleagues. Look forward to Jan-Philipp Berner (Söl'ring Hof), Jan Nissen-Hünding (Samoa Seepferdchen), Max Westphal (Severin*s Resort & Spa), Thomas Samson (Dorfkrug Bar & Grill), and Jörg Müller (Restaurant & Hotel Jörg Müller). As diverse as these Sylt addresses are, the program for this year's ISLAND FOOD FESTIVAL will be just as multifaceted.

In 2025, the Gourmet Trail in Keitum will once again invite lovers of good taste to a unique walking dinner. Hosted by the AMICI restaurant, the Benen-Diken-Hof, the Butcherei, Oma Wilma, and the Severin*s Resort & Spa.

These five restaurants warmly welcome participants to a culinary journey through the idyllic island town of Keitum.

True to the motto "Üüs Söl'ring Lön – Our Sylt Land," the dishes are prepared primarily with original Sylt ingredients and products sourced directly from the producers. From insider tips to well-known favorites, you'll discover products from manufacturers and farmers committed to sustainable, regional production.

After a communal start at the Severin*s Resort & Spa, participants can look forward to being served two dishes at the following three stations, reflecting the Christmas theme of the Advent Gourmet Trail. The walking dinner concludes with a communal dessert at the Benen-Diken-Hof.

The exceptional and diverse cuisine of the private hotels of Sylt takes center stage this week. Off-season, you can experience the impressive Sylt winter wonderland during the day: The beach is yours exclusively, the horizon is wider than ever, and the clear, frosty island air is simply good for you: Sylt is perhaps never as pristine and at one with itself as in February.

From June 23 to 28, 2026, small craft breweries will once again present their hop creations against the finest North Sea backdrop. Expected participants include the Pinnauer Privatbrauerei, Landgang, Kehrwieder, Überquell, and the Wacken Brewery. From the "other island," you can sample Guinness and Kilkenny, not only from the bottle but also freshly tapped. In addition to great wines and cocktails, there will also be various culinary specialties in a unique atmosphere. This year, the Craft Beer & Gourmet Festival will once again take place daily from 11:00 a.m. to midnight on the beach promenade in Westerland between the Strandstraße and Brandenburgerstrand crossings.
