In its 46th year, the traditional Wenningstedt Village Pond Festival will once again offer visitors plenty of fun. From 14.00:00.00 PM to midnight, the area between the village pond and Denghoog will be transformed into a colorful festival ground.

A cheerful children's program A range of fun, games and crafts awaits the little ones from 14.00 p.m. to 18.00 p.m.:

On the village pond The miniature boats of the ship model builders will be floating, and at 18.00:XNUMX p.m., hundreds of rubber ducks will be floating as part of the popular LIONS duck race. The lottery ducks can be purchased in advance – for example, at the Tourist Information in the Wenningstedter Haus am Kliff – or on-site at the LIONS booth.

To ensure that there is no boredom on the Bi Kiar street, Various artists and groups provide a lot of variety in program.

Delicious from the Island: Food stalls at the village pond festival serve a variety of dishes – from coffee and cake to tarte flambée and bratwurst.

  • Note on the parking situation:
    If possible, please travel by bus (Line 1 from List or Westerland, stop Hauptstraße) or by bicycle. Limited parking is available near the festival grounds on Kampener Weg (former circus meadow) and at Osetal (beach chair hall/campsite). There is a dedicated parking space for bicycles on Kampener Weg.

  • Note on road closures:
    Bi Kiar Street will be completely closed on Saturday, July 25.07, from 06.00:26.07 a.m. to 01.00:XNUMX a.m. on July XNUMX. 
    Access to Weidenstieg will be completely closed on Saturday, July 25.07, from 12.00:26.07 PM until 01.00:25.07 AM on July XNUMX. A no-parking zone will be in place on Kampener Weg all day on Saturday, July XNUMX.
