Tinnum campsite

Once the seat of Sylt's bailiffs, Tinnum today serves as a bridge between town and village – bordering directly on Westerland to the west and Keitum to the east. The Tinnum meadows offer excellent opportunities for cycling and hiking. A lovely wildlife park and the Tinnumburg, a pre-Christian rampart, also invite visitors to explore the area. The "Südhörn" campsite, with its 165 pitches, is situated in a quiet location on the edge of the village.

The campsite, open year-round, features accessible sanitary facilities, a frost-proof water and waste disposal station, and a gas cylinder sales point. The Tofree kiosk offers everyday essentials, a variety of homemade takeaway items, a delicious on-site breakfast, and a daily changing lunch menu. The "Jankes" restaurant, serving regional cuisine, caters to campers' culinary needs. A children's playground provides a welcome amenity for younger guests.
