Rantum campsite

In Rantum, you're incredibly close to the sea. Just a few hundred meters separate the roaring west coast from the tranquil Wadden Sea to the east. And between these two seas lies a vast landscape of pristine dunes, where the island's typical thatched-roof houses nestle gently. North of Rantum stretches Sylt's largest campsite with 400 pitches, 50 tent sites, and 20 campervan pitches. Six large mobile homes for up to four people and four smaller mobile homes for up to two people (dogs on request) offer every comfort with stunning views right on the Rantum Basin. This four-star campsite is located next to the Rantum Basin bird sanctuary. A path leads from the campsite to the beach, just a few hundred meters away.

The campsite boasts a modern sanitary building. Separated into women's, men's, and children's sections, the fully heated building features 40 showers, over 30 washbasins, more than 20 toilets, twelve individual wash cubicles, and a dedicated shower and wash area for children and toddlers. Accessible bathrooms and rental bathrooms are also available. Additional amenities include kitchens, water taps, washing machines, dryers, and even a special dog shower.
