Meadow tour from Keitum

This beautiful green loop starts at Keitum train station, where you can easily park or arrive by train or bus. Cross the street and follow the narrow road opposite – keeping to the right. The road makes two sharp bends and then continues straight ahead towards the dike. After about 300 meters, turn right onto the paved bike path and continue straight ahead. Cross the first crossroads and take the second to turn right. Follow the road (watch out for car traffic!) to the railway tracks. Immediately before these, a sandy path branches off to the right, which takes you almost back to Keitum. At the Keitum tea shop, the sandy path leads onto a small road, where you keep left to follow it. Shortly after, you will reach the main road again, which you must cross to continue on the bike path for a few more meters to the start and finish point, Keitum train station. 

The meadows between Tinnum and Keitum can be very windy, so it's best to remember to bring windproof clothing!

If you're traveling by car, follow the main road toward Morsum and you'll definitely pass Keitum train station. There you'll find a large parking lot for your car (fees apply). 

A large paid parking lot is located directly at Keitum train station. 

The starting point can be reached in just a few minutes by any regional train from Westerland. From Morsum, take any train towards Westerland, also in just a few minutes. You can reach Keitum train station by bus on line 4. 

You'll have to cross a busy, fast-moving main road twice without traffic lights. Please pay close attention to the traffic.
