The trail starts at the idyllic Munkmarsch harbor. From there, you walk east along the hiking trail above the water. The trail winds its way along the Wadden Sea, over a small bridge, and past forests and beautiful thatched-roof houses until you reach the end of Keitum. From there, you return the same way.

Our tip
- If you are not jogging but walking, it is worth taking a coffee break, for example in Nielsen's coffee garden in Keitum.
Directions
- You start at Munkmarsch Harbor on the narrow sandy footpath directly off the small cul-de-sac heading east. This path leads you to the hiking trail that runs above the water and also takes you to Keitum. The terrain alternates between firm sand, softer sand, and asphalt, but you don't need to take a detour. The asphalt path ends in a narrow, difficult-to-jog path at the end of Keitum. There, you turn around and return on the same path, with the Wadden Sea now on your right.
