From the start in the center of Morsum, the route goes directly to the Morsum Forest, a gem just before the railway embankment. You then follow remote country roads past the golf course to the dike. There, you'll enjoy a stunning view of the Wadden Sea, and you can choose whether to run directly along the water or on the dike crest. Another country road past fields leads you back to the starting point. The flat paths make walking easy and allow for many sweeping views through the beautiful, tranquil nature. The view of the Wadden Sea is breathtaking, especially in the early morning hours when the sun is still low in the sky—a good excuse if you're out of breath. :)

Directions
The running route starts in the heart of Morsum, at Muasem Hüs. For the first stretch, follow the main road east and take the second road on the left – the Nösistich. Follow this road for a short distance and turn right before the bridge. Follow the "Zum Wäldchen" road for a good kilometer. Then, two small paths branch off to the right into the forest. Follow the second one, which leads you straight through the forest. Take the next two right-hand paths to get back to the road. You will come out at Hiirlön. Follow this road until you pass the golf course. After this, turn left onto the Uasterhörn, which leads you straight to the dike. Once there, continue right along the dike. Only the Liiger Wal will bring you back towards the town center. Follow this road until you cross the Hooger Wal, where you turn right. The next road on the left (the Serkwai) is the finish line.

Our tip
At the dike, you'll share the path with grazing sheep, who also like to lie on the warm asphalt. This can sometimes turn the route into a slalom.
safety instructions
Some parts of the route are on quiet country roads, so please pay close attention to the traffic.
