This beautiful loop leads through almost untouched nature, past free-roaming sheep and through the List dune landscape. The hustle and bustle of List harbor at the starting point is quickly left behind. The Mövenberg dike, on the other hand, welcomes you with tranquility and a sweeping view over Königshafen harbor to Ellenbogen. On the return journey, you walk through the List dunes, a protected area. In summer, the path is lined with blooming heather. Shortly before you reach the town of List again, you climb a few wooden steps that reward you with a breathtaking view of the shifting dunes.

Directions
From the parking lot, walk along the promenade toward the Natural Forces Adventure Center. Then follow this path for a while, over the dike along the Königshafen harbor, until you reach the main road. Follow this road for a short distance, but turn left at the next opportunity. Cross the grounds of the Möwenberg Youth Hostel and then turn left onto a paved sandy path. Follow this path through pristine dunes and heathland, partially on wooden paths and steps. This path leads you back to the main road, Möwenbergstraße. Follow this road until the Landwehrdeich (land defense dike) branches off to the left, then turn into it and follow it until you reach the Natural Forces Adventure Center again.

Follow the L24 north until you reach the port of List.
There is a large free parking lot at the starting point.
From Westerland and all points along the way, take line 1 to the "Hafen List" stop.
