Good to know

Our tip

On this tour you can experience the beauty of Sylt's nature in the north of the island up close!

Directions

From the harbor, we first head to the promenade along List's eastern beach. At the southern edge of List, we follow the old island railway line past the shifting dune to Blidselbucht. There, we switch from the cycling and hiking path to the old Listland road. Here, we get a second look at the shifting dune from the other side. We continue through the nature reserve until we reach Königshafen. From here, we follow the water, past the youth hostel and sheep, and back along the dike to Lister Hafen.

safety instructions

On the old Listland road, you have to walk on the road between Blidselbucht and Weststrandhalle, as there is no footpath. Alternatively, you can walk parallel to the beach.

Equipment

There are few shelter options along the trail, so if rain is forecast, wear waterproof clothing.
