In Wenningstedt-Braderup, it is particularly important to us to enable all visitors to access nature and the beach.
Conventional wheelchairs are not ideally suited for getting around on the beach. The cadWeazle, an electrically powered beach wheelchair, takes you right to the water's edge with electronic assistance.
A total of 5 electric beach wheelchairs are available.
Reservation:
A cadWeazle can be reserved in advance for one day per week. On additional days, it can be rented on-site, subject to availability. We want to make it accessible to as many guests with physical disabilities as possible.
Requirements:
Minimum age 18 years (or accompanied by a parent or guardian)
Designated aG or G in the disability card
Maximum load 100 kg body weight
Battery charging time:
The battery lasts for approximately 4 hours and can be recharged at the lifeguard huts on the beach.
Can the electric beach wheelchair be controlled by an accompanying person?
Yes, the control panel can be folded up so that an accompanying person can control the electric beach wheelchair.

Getting in and out of the electric beach wheelchair must be possible independently or with the assistance of a companion. Unfortunately, for insurance reasons, our staff cannot provide assistance.
