The blue wall with island motifs was created in 2024 as part of a street art workshop in cooperation with the school center, the artist Paul Manzey, and urbanisten eV, an association for democratic design and participation in public spaces. The project focused on the question of what Sylt means to young people. Children and young people aged 12 to 18 were able to immerse themselves in the world of urban art and use the individual mural to portray their view of the island in public space. The project was funded by the Partnership for Democracy on Sylt.
