This includes much more than waves or asphalt beneath the board. Rather, it's about freedom and connection to nature, a love of the sea, forests, and mountains, and a sense of sustainability. The range is accordingly carefully curated.
Here you'll find small brands with a boardsports and outdoor focus that also value fair production and natural materials. In addition to hardware, you'll find camping and travel equipment, clothing, backpacks, jewelry and accessories, care products, as well as books and beautiful items for your home.

With the recently opened shop on Friedrichstraße (Westerland), the product range has also expanded. In addition to new brands from the surf and skate world, you'll now also find selected food items in the store with Saltwater Goods: Sea salt, olive oil, and ceramics bring a Portuguese breeze to the north. The Saltwater Shop also carries roasted organic coffee, biodynamically grown and processed by a small community in Tayrona, Colombia.

Go out and play
Even if you don't regularly plunge into the salty – and cold – waters of the local seas or roll along the streets with the board, a visit to the Saltwater Shop is still worthwhile and will awaken your gaming instinct: In addition to a portable backgammon, the team recently even launched its own deck of cards: the Vanlife Cards, developed and produced in St. Pauli, in the heart of Hamburg.
The cards are suitable for outdoor use – so you can really make a splash on the North Sea beach.
Surfboards, longboards, skateboards, surfskateboards and really cool e-beach cruisers are available for rental.
