Feldenkrais
Bettina Sönksen-Volquardsen is a Feldenkrais and craniosacral therapist. She offers individual Feldenkrais sessions in the treatment room at the farm or in the patients' homes.

About Feldenkrais:
Moshé Feldenkrais (1904-1984) developed his method for the optimal use of the nervous system so that "everyone can do what they are capable of." The goal is to establish physical and (and thus often also mental) balance: "It is about seeing the individual human being or animal in their uniqueness and providing optimal support." This involves awareness of movement, i.e., learning how to perform movements in a way that is easy, harmonious, and pain-free for the body. This takes place either in group work or in individual treatments. The latter is also known as functional integration (FI). This means that the student is moved by the teacher's hands and guided through various movement sequences. The goal is to mobilize parts of the body that were previously rather stiff, thus relieving strain on overstressed and therefore potentially painful areas.

Bettina Sönksen-Volquardsen is also a craniosacral therapist. This gentle method for releasing blockages is used as a relaxation and wellness treatment, as well as for the body's regeneration after injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain. Individual treatments take place either in the treatment room at the farm or in the patient's home.
