The Ellenbogen is the perfect place to unwind, capture memories on photos, and is a destination for lovers, nature lovers, and surfers.
On the way to the tip of the Ellenbogen peninsula, only a few meters separate the sea from the Wadden Sea. Sheep are a common sight. Accustomed to tourists and vehicles, they cross the road with nonchalant ease and sometimes even pose for photos. Almost the entire area is a nature and bird sanctuary.

It is privately owned, therefore a toll of 8,00 euros must be paid for cars.
Six parking areas offer the opportunity to park near the beach access points, allowing you to spend and enjoy your time at Ellenbogen. Since the sea is unpredictable throughout the area, swimming is strictly prohibited.
Just four kilometers to the northeast of the Ellenbogen lies the Danish island of Rømø.
Several daily ferry crossings between List and Rømø are offered on the Sylt ferry. The ferry can be observed particularly well at the eastern tip of the Ellenbogen peninsula.
