E-bike charging station on Westerweg

Two e-bike charging stations have been installed at the corner of Westerweg and Strönwai, directly on the popular "Alte Bahntrasse" cycle path. They allow up to four bicycles to be charged simultaneously. The stations are equipped with integrated cables that support various plug types, including Bosch, Rosenberger (BMZ, Brose, Specialized), and Shimano. A standard household socket (Schuko) is also available for charging other e-bikes with their own chargers.

Use is free, and sturdy barriers ensure that bikes can be safely parked and locked during charging. The location is ideal for a quick charging break on a bike tour around Sylt—close to nature yet within easy reach of Kampen's town center.
