- General information on accessibilityIn Rantum, the Samoa and Sandwall Nord beach crossings are also accessible for people with disabilities, with car access up to just before the crossing and step-free access. Two beach wheelchairs are available for rental by appointment from the Island of Sylt Tourism Service at Strandweg 7 in Rantum. A swimming wheelchair is also available at the Samoa crossing.
