The Municipality of Kampen now offers its own Location app for citizens, second home owners and guests – free of charge in App Store and active in Google Play.

The app bundles all important information All around Kampen in one place: garbage collection dates, events, administrative contacts, news and more – quickly, up-to-date and accessible via mobile. Push notifications keep users up to date in real time.

With interactive features such as comments and a digital pinboard, Citizen participation made easy – directly from your smartphone.

The app is a result of the Kampen Forums and a further step towards more Transparency and digital participation in the community.

General administrative matters

Anja Kautz has been working in our parish office since February 2024

She's there to answer all your questions and concerns about the municipality. Whether it's in the committee service or at the Citizens' Office, she'll help you with applications, information, and other matters.

The management of the municipal committees (except the building committee) and the municipal council are among their responsibilities, 
as well as matters concerning the building yard.

Kirsten Biss

Construction matters

Ms. Biß, administrative assistant, has been part of the Kampen municipality team since 2003.

Since then, she has been in charge of the municipal building committee. If you have questions about the local development regulations or would like to know what building options are available on your property, Kirsten Biß is available to provide advice and support.

Kampen Volunteer Fire Department 

Förderverein

The Kampen Volunteer Fire Department's Support Association was founded at the beginning of 2016. The association aims to support "its" fire department in the acquisition of protective equipment, technical devices, and vehicles. Ensuring optimal training for active firefighters is a particular concern. Currently, around XNUMX active firefighters are on duty voluntarily, working for the Kampen Fire Department without pay. They must be on call at any time of day or night, always ready to adapt to a wide variety of circumstances and requirements. This naturally requires in-depth training and continuous professional development, ensuring that Kampen firefighters can always approach their operations professionally, with routine, and mentally perfectly prepared. Emergency drills are scheduled every two weeks. Standards, safety regulations, and laws are also constantly evolving, requiring that equipment and vehicles are always kept up to date. To meet all these high demands on people and equipment, the fire department needs your help!
