A traditional destination on the Kampen-List route, this thatched-roof restaurant and café offers a modern country-style mix and elegant decor. A romantic beach chair garden and a children's playground are among the many regulars. A variety of breakfast options are available, including oven-fresh cakes. Many classics (half a duck with red cabbage, potato dumplings, cranberry pear, whole fish depending on availability, skrei fillet) are served. Original desserts (chocolate brownie with oranges, homemade ice cream, Sylt milk foam) are offered. An excellent wine list with approximately 400 wines is available! The hotel also has its own wine shop, top-quality vineyards, and a separate champagne list.

From 12 noon onwards, Vogelkoje guests can enjoy a variety of delights: The daily menu opens its pages with Kojen burgers, US beef, Sylt fish stew with garlic bread, freshly baked waffles, fragrant cakes fresh from the oven, and the kids are happy in their playground, which they only leave for the "Räuber Hotzenplotz" (small veal schnitzel with French fries and vegetables) or "Nemo" (breaded fish fillets with mashed potatoes and vegetables). Whether inside in the stylish dining rooms or outside in the blooming garden, relaxation, family-friendliness, and enjoyment are the consistent components of the Vogelkoje's feel-good factor.
In the evening, the tables gleam in candlelight. A substantial selection is available, with market-fresh additions on the special menu. Regional meat dishes are also included in the culinary offerings, such as a "Riche" bouillabaisse, IJsselmeer zander fillet, or pearl barley risotto with wild mushrooms and buffalo Parmesan. For a holistic experience, ask for a customized three- or four-course menu, which, with perfectly matched wine pairings from the extensive wine cabinet, will linger long after your meal.
