This thatched "house in the lee" with its beautifully landscaped café garden exudes a sense of security. One is practically drawn in by its charm. Many regular guests have long since taken this Hus in Lee to their hearts. Hikers and cyclists are drawn by the aroma of freshly baked goods in the large, tastefully landscaped garden and are surprised by the relaxed atmosphere, letting their souls wander over coffee or tea and an apple tart. There's the golden-brown seared plaice or the Holstein duck, the scallops, the herb cheese pralines, or the whole roasted turbot. Chef Armin Nutzenberger, a North Sea fish specialist at Hus in Lee-Herd for over 20 years, knows how to delight guests time and again with his classic coastal cuisine – a blend of home-style and creative.
