This is the perfect place to sit. The terrace on the Westerland sea promenade is easy to reach. Beach service runs smoothly. Breakfast beckons from 10 a.m., either a small or hearty breakfast. Then things start sizzling behind the counter in the open kitchen. Here, uncomplicated, tasty beach bistro cuisine is served: the indestructible currywurst with red and white fries is a must. The tarte flambée comes in various variations – with everything from bacon and onions to pulled pork and scampi. We also saw pollock with olive and tomato tapenade and Angus roast beef on the menu.
The gastronomic offering has expanded significantly in recent times.
