A nice play on words is the hook for this charming little bar, BARBUSHKA on Friedrichstrasse. Boris reigns supreme in this "narrow towel." The young Russian is a master of cocktails—he learned all of this as a restaurant professional in top restaurants. His shop is located on the sunny side of Westerland's shopping street. So, when the weather's nice, the chairs and tables in front of BARBUSHKA are always quickly booked, as word quickly spreads that Boris has created a particularly relaxed atmosphere here, with drinks that are not only perfectly shaken and stirred, but also affordable.
Boris's favorites: "Kraken Surizzle," "Sazarac," "Negroni," "Brockmann," and "Tonka." He's particularly fond of the "Pina Fria." It's a drink with Jamaican rum and frozen pineapple. Here, you can discover many drinks, whether aperitifs or digestifs—before or after dinner. On Boris's terrace, you can even sit down with food from neighboring restaurants and order a draft Flens or a glass of wine. Boris is generous in this regard.
