The “Gute Stube” of Archsum with traditional, down-to-earth dishes.

Holger Autzen and his trusted team ensure the deliciousness. Even the starters are intriguing: herring tartare, pickled sheep's cheese, and also the soups, especially the potato soup with bacon and North Sea crab. The salads are generous and, with fried scampi or lamb fillet, full-flavored like a main course. The fried potatoes are crispy, as they should be, and they accompany many dishes: herring, fried herring, sauerfleisch (sour meat), the steaks, and the veal Wiener Schnitzel. Fish is always good here, be it plaice, cod, or salmon fillet. Pannfisch (pan-fried fish) with a spicy mustard sauce is a hit – not to mention the Sylt fish platter. When it's "pears, beans, and bacon" season, be sure to grab it. This popular dish is prepared here just like it used to be in the "Franconian Wine Bar." A real treat for connoisseurs! They can do it in the "Alte Schule" (Old School). The child-friendliness is particularly noteworthy.
Also worth mentioning is the adjoining hall, which can accommodate up to 70 people, and the terrace, beautifully furnished and bathed in sunshine – when it shines.
