The Hörnum campsite is located in the idyllic Sylt dune landscape, directly on the kilometer-long, white sandy beach. Sunbathing and swimming, both with and without umbrellas, are just a few meters from the pitches!

Equipment of the service house
In addition to the sanitary facilities and washing facilities, the following service facilities are available on the campsite:

Good to know…
Caravan
If you arrive with your own caravan, the following applies: The positioning of the caravan by our staff and tractor will only take place at the following times:
Monday to Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 15:30 p.m
Please reserve your desired departure date in advance (at least two days in advance) at reception (a registration list is available). Unannounced, last-minute departures from your caravan are not permitted.

Arrival Monday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 15:30 p.m. If arriving after this time, please use the self-check-in machine at the barrier.
Departure by 12:00 noon at the latest.
To set up tents and awnings on the campsite, sand pegs made of metal or plastic and at least 30 centimeters long are required.

Arriving by car: A few hundred meters after entering the town, you'll see the "Arche Wattenmeer" conservation station on the right. Turn right immediately behind it and drive straight ahead to the barrier. If you already have a reservation, you can check in yourself at the self-check-in machine. The machine will then give you a card that will open the barrier.
Arriving by bus: The stop at the campsite is called “Steintal” and is directly after the “Hörnum Nord” stop.
Since these are sandy pitches, caravans are only towed onto and off the site by tow truck for a one-time fee. (See price list)
