Driving on rails can be so beautiful

The red DB Sylt Shuttle carries a limited number of camper vans up to 10m in length, which is why Reservation is recommended. 

If the vehicle's dimensions don't allow it to fit on the double-decker units, it will be transported on the single-decker units. Depending on the loading technology, you may drive backward onto the train.

How to get to the island with a camper

The blue CARZUG Sylt takes smaller mobile homes (also with roof hatches) up to 6m length, 2,70m height and 3t total weight. Large motorhomes (Total length more than 10m, total weight more than 3 tons) 4 - 6 vehicles are transported per trip.

You can also reserve a parking space for your caravan or motorhome on the Sylt ferry. This is especially recommended during peak season.
