Discover the fascinating world of the North Frisian Halligen – small islands in the heart of the Wadden Sea National Park, characterized by vastness, the raw power of nature, and living traditions. Each Hallig has its own unique character. While Hallig Hooge combines pristine nature with cultural insights into the special Hallig way of life, Hallig Gröde, one of Germany's smallest municipalities, impresses with its seclusion and daily life shaped by the sea. Hallig Langeneß stands for tranquility, wide open spaces, and small cultural highlights amidst nature. From June to September, the Hallig blossom transforms the salt marshes into a vibrant sea of flowers – a truly special natural spectacle.
This extraordinary mudflat hike begins with a boat trip to the island of Amrum or Föhr – depending on the tides. From there, led by an experienced guide, you'll walk approximately eight kilometers across the mudflats: barefoot, close to nature, and impressive. The return trip is by boat, offering a unique change of perspective, as you'll now see the landscape you just traversed from the water.

The MS KOI regularly cruises the North and Baltic Seas, going from party to party. The island of Sylt is, of course, a regular stop on its itinerary. On select days throughout the year, Northern Germany's largest event ship docks in Hörnum, offering a unique party atmosphere.
